Staff at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay received a big surprise last year. 14 nurses at the Women and Infants Center all became pregnant together.
The hospital shared the news as Mother’s Day approached in May. All these women work as registered nurses and health educators.
Friends Helping Friends
The pregnant colleagues are now helping each other. They receive prenatal care from their own friends at work.
Director Amy Bardon said the women will also give birth at the same hospital. She called the situation an incredible full-circle moment for the staff.
