Whitney Purvis, known from 16 and Pregnant, is mourning the loss of her eldest son, 16-year-old Weston Gosa Jr. On June 2, Weston was found unresponsive at home. Despite CPR and emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at a hospital. An autopsy will determine the cause.

Weston’s stepmother, Amy Gosa, announced the heartbreaking news on Facebook, sharing that he had battled medical issues, including diabetes. “We are completely heartbroken,” she wrote. Whitney later posted, “He was so perfect. This is my worst nightmare come true.”

Purvis reflected on Weston’s life with raw emotion, calling him her “angel” and saying she didn’t know how to move forward. She updated her profile photo with one of them smiling, writing, “Rest in peace, my baby. I love you forever.”

Weston’s birth was featured on 16 and Pregnant in 2009. Whitney later had two more sons and faced legal troubles in 2024. Despite personal struggles, her love for Weston remained constant. The family now mourns the devastating loss of a bright, loving young soul.
