TV icon Tom Selleck was recently spotted in Los Angeles, looking very different from his Magnum PI days. The 80-year-old actor wore black shorts, a dark t-shirt, and sneakers, along with a thick beard—making him nearly unrecognizable.
Selleck, best known for playing Thomas Magnum in the hit 80s series Magnum PI, also starred in Blue Bloods as Police Commissioner Frank Reagan. He told CBS, “We’re the third-highest show in all of broadcast… All the cast wants to come back.”
During his rare public sighting, Tom visited a local gym, picked up a Big Mac and soda from McDonald’s, then stopped by an office and convenience store. He’s mostly kept a low profile at his $12 million avocado ranch since Blue Bloods was canceled.
Fans were surprised to see the Emmy-winning star out and about. Despite the years, his legendary career and fan support remain strong.
