The UK’s biggest sex festival, Swingathon, took place in Allington near Grantham last weekend, drawing over 500 couples. Tickets cost £200 per person, offering access to adult-themed activities like foam parties, hot tubs, pole dancing, and even a 40-person orgy. Stalls sold lingerie and sex toys, creating a full experience for non-monogamous attendees.
DJ Kerry Voellner, 46, who runs The Lifestyle Lounge, described the event as “three days of utter enjoyment and freedom.” She added, “Even if you go alone, people will come and talk to you… it’s about being yourself and being free.” Though she was working during the festival, she hosted events like “Butt Plug Bingo” and “Kerry’s Kinky Quiz.”

Despite local criticism, organizers emphasize the event’s safety and respect. “It’s clean and hygienic, and condoms are everywhere,” Kerry said. Event founder Matthew Cole added, “This community is more respectful and health-conscious than many assume.”
Swingathon will return next year, continuing to promote safe, open, and judgment-free sexual expression in a supportive space.
