Influencer Tana Mongeau is warning others to stay away from Mounjaro after suffering harsh side effects. Originally made for Type 2 diabetes, Mounjaro is now used by some for quick weight loss due to its appetite-suppressing effects.
Mongeau shared on her podcast that she lost 6 pounds in just two days, but the results came at a high cost. “This is the biggest public service announcement to never, ever, ever do it,” she said. “I have been dying this week—crawling on the floor.” She also revealed she had to take anti-nausea medication daily and sleep over 12 hours to cope.

Common Mounjaro side effects include nausea, constipation, hair loss, and low sex drive. Doctors also warn about possible muscle and bone loss. The NHS only prescribes it for people with a BMI of 40 or higher, but some have obtained it privately.
Mongeau admitted, “It’s a quick fix—and it works. But I should not have done that.” Health experts urge anyone considering the drug to speak with a doctor first.
