Ozzy Osbourne’s Official Cause Of Death Confirmed

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22 at age 76. His death certificate confirms the cause was an acute heart attack (myocardial infarction) and cardiac arrest outside of a hospital, according to The New York Times. Contributing conditions included coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction.

Ozzy passed away just days after his final concert in Birmingham—his hometown. During the emotional show, he performed hits like Mama, I’m Coming Home and Crazy Train. He also reunited with Black Sabbath for a powerful farewell, calling the night his “final encore.”

“He gave us everything,” one fan said. Ozzy sang from a black bat-shaped throne, as fans lit up the venue with their phones.

A private funeral was held at his Buckinghamshire estate. About 110 close family and friends attended, including Sharon, Kelly, Jack, and many rock stars like James Hetfield, Elton John, and Marilyn Manson. Guests received keepsake photos and heartfelt tributes celebrated the heavy metal icon’s life and legacy.
