UK health officials have issued an urgent “do not eat” alert for three Dubai-style chocolate bars that could trigger deadly allergic reactions. The affected products may contain undeclared peanuts, almonds, cashews, and walnuts — posing serious risks to people with nut allergies.
The recalled items include:
- Nrosis Schokolade Love of Dubai
- Fix It Dubai Kunafa Chocolate (50g)
- Le Damas Dubai Chocolate Kunafa and Pistachio (200g)
These chocolates are sold by independent retailers and may lack proper allergen warnings. The supplier, Black Sea Trading Ltd, has not responded to safety authorities, and all batches and best-before dates are affected.
“These products contain nuts not listed on the label,” the Food Standards Agency (FSA) warned. People are advised to throw them away and report where they were purchased.
Experts urge consumers to avoid products without clear ingredient labels in English. This recall follows growing concerns about unregulated imported sweets promoted on social media.
Anyone who experiences swelling, rash, dizziness, or trouble breathing after eating should seek medical help immediately.
