Model and former Miss Universe contestant Kseniya Alexandrova has died at just 30 years old. The heartbreaking news comes only months after she married her husband, Ilya.

In July, Kseniya was traveling in western Russia when an elk suddenly leapt onto the road. The massive animal crashed through the windshield, striking her in the head. “From the moment it jumped out until the impact, a split second passed,” Ilya said.

She was rushed to hospital in critical condition and placed on life support. Despite moments of regained consciousness, her health worsened. “She went back into a coma. Tests showed meningitis and later blood sepsis,” Ilya shared. Doctors managed to restart her heart once, but she passed away on August 13.

Her modeling agency paid tribute: “Kseniya was bright, talented, and kind. She inspired and gave warmth to everyone around her.”
