Gerald McRaney, known for his role in “NCIS: Los Angeles,” turned 76 in August. He expressed his joy in playing Admiral Kilbride and praised the show’s crew and cast. Retirement isn’t in his plans; he wants to keep acting as long as he can.
McRaney’s love for his wife, Delta Burke, is enduring. They got married in 1989 and support each other through thick and thin. Despite Burke’s health issues, including diabetes, McRaney cares for her deeply, even administering her insulin shots.
Their relationship is full of love and mutual support. McRaney stood by Burke during her struggles and, in turn, she supported him during his battle with lung cancer. They plan to enjoy their retirement in Central Florida, spending time with their grandchildren and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
McRaney is proud of his children, who have chosen paths away from acting. He cherishes his role as a grandfather, recently attending his oldest granddaughter’s wedding.
