Strongman Snaps Both Tendons And Knees ‘Shoot Up Into His Thighs’ In Brutal Footage

A Strongman contest turned into horror when Dan Jones collapsed just steps from the finish line. The 31-year-old dad from Cheshire ruptured both patellar tendons, sending his kneecaps shooting up into his thighs.

“I felt like I was on fire,” Jones said. “My kneecaps were in my quads.” The freak accident left the IT analyst needing a five-hour surgery and weeks of rehab to walk again.

He recalled the chilling silence after the injury. “The whole crowd went silent. I just lay on the floor,” he shared. Doctors told him it’s extremely rare to tear both tendons at the same time.

Despite the pain, Jones remains hopeful. His main goal is simple: “I want to chase my daughter around and play with her.” He continues daily physio and shares recovery updates on TikTok, inspiring many.

His story is a reminder of how quickly life can change. Would you have the strength to keep fighting?
