Mother of 6 Was Misdiagnosed for Months – She Later Died from a Rare Form of Cancer

Deborah Finck, a mother of six, battled a rare cancer after months of painful misdiagnoses. What began as a simple cough turned into exhaustion, sleepless nights, and collapse. By chance, a broken rib revealed a hidden tumor, changing her life forever.

Doctors eventually diagnosed her with leiomyosarcoma, an aggressive and rare cancer. Deborah faced risky surgery and years of treatment, but she chose to share her journey online. “My mom could talk to the wall and have a great time,” her daughter Katerina recalled. Through honesty and humor, Deborah inspired more than 800,000 followers.

Even as her health declined, Deborah created memories with her family. One of her most touching moments was helping Katerina choose a wedding dress. “You look stunning in that dress,” she told her daughter, leaving a memory that would outlive her.

Deborah passed away peacefully at 57, surrounded by love. Her legacy is one of courage, family, and connection. Her story reminds us to seek answers, cherish time, and live with purpose.
