A heartbreaking update has emerged about British tourist Michele Bourdas, 59, who disappeared while on holiday in Greece. Michele vanished from her sunbed in Kavala in August while her husband Chris slept nearby.

Her body was discovered nearly a month later on the private island of Fidonisi, around 40km from where she went missing. Forensic experts concluded she drowned, though time at sea left her remains badly damaged. “Sadly I was expecting this,” her husband said. “But the harbour police didn’t act quickly enough.”

Chris criticized local authorities, claiming they delayed searching and even suggested she had left with another man. He added, “She would never have gone without her glasses, her money, or her medication.”
