A major development has been announced in the search for Charlie Kirk’s shooter. The 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot while answering a question at Utah Valley University on September 10.
Utah Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason confirmed that investigators have tracked the suspect’s movements on campus. “We have good video footage,” Mason said. “We followed him through stairwells, across the roof, and saw him flee into a neighborhood.”

The shooter, believed to be of college age, blended in with the crowd before escaping. The FBI also recovered a high-powered bolt-action rifle from a wooded area near the scene. The weapon is now undergoing forensic analysis.
President Donald Trump mourned Kirk as a “great, and even legendary” figure and called the killing “a dark moment for America.” He vowed to fight political violence and bring those responsible to justice.
Do you think releasing the suspect’s footage to the public would help speed up his capture?
