The world watched as Erika Kirk shared intimate photos of her late husband’s casket, days after his shocking death. Charlie Kirk, 31, was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.
In a deeply emotional Instagram post, Erika bowed over his casket, kissed his hands, and whispered, “I love you.” She also shared video of his coffin being taken to the hearse and the Air Force Two flight that carried him home to Phoenix.
Leaning on her faith, Erika wrote, “The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry.” She vowed to continue her husband’s work through his campus tour, radio show, and podcast.
“To everyone: you will never forget my husband. I’ll make sure of it,” she promised.
