Parents are outraged after a Toronto teacher allegedly showed students graphic footage of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Principal Jennifer Koptie confirmed the video was shown once in class and called it “extremely troubling and completely unacceptable.”

Students as young as 10 reportedly went home shaken and told their parents they were forced to watch the clip multiple times. The teacher also allegedly gave a speech claiming Kirk “deserved” the attack, sparking even more anger.

“Someone needs to be fired over this,” one parent wrote. The teacher has been placed on leave while the Toronto District School Board investigates. Social workers have been sent to support the affected children.

Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University and died shortly after. Suspect Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested following a nationwide manhunt. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
