Fans and friends gathered in Melbourne to say goodbye to beloved Gogglebox star Emmie Silbery. The 96-year-old TV favorite passed away in July after a battle with dementia.

The heartfelt ceremony, held at Black Rock Yacht Club, was filled with love and memories. “Honoured and thrilled to MC the Celebration of Life for ‘everyone’s TV Nan,’” wrote Gogglebox star Matt Dalton. He praised her remarkable life as a nurse, wife, mother, and great-grandmother.

Emmie’s granddaughter Isabelle shared her final moments online. “Her last words: ‘I’m ready to hang up now,’” she wrote. Fans flooded social media with tributes. “She was so beyond loved,” wrote Lainey Grech, while co-stars Keith and Lee called her their “adopted grandmother.”

Emmie appeared on Gogglebox for 14 seasons before stepping back in 2022. She brought laughter, wisdom, and warmth to millions.
