Ricky Hatton’s Haunting Final Post Before His Death

The boxing world is mourning Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton, who was found dead at his Greater Manchester home on Sunday. He was just 46.

Hatton, a former world champion, had been training for a comeback fight against Eisa Al Dah. In his last Instagram post, shared Friday, he looked healthy and upbeat after a 5K run. “Another 5k, good sweat on,” he said, raising his fist in triumph.

Tributes poured in from across the sport. Amir Khan wrote, “We lost not only a champion, but a friend and mentor.” Tyson Fury added, “RIP to the legend Ricky Hatton, can’t believe this.”

Hatton had been open about past struggles with mental health and addiction but was said to be “in a really good place.” Friends grew concerned when he missed a Friday gym session and an event for one of his fighters.

His sudden death leaves fans heartbroken and wondering what might have been. What’s your favorite Ricky Hatton fight or memory?
