Heartbreak has gripped California after the remains of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez were found in a Tesla. Police discovered her body last week after neighbors reported a foul smell coming from the abandoned car in Hollywood Hills.
The Tesla was registered to singer d4vd, whose team said he is “fully cooperating” with investigators. Celeste had been missing since April 2024, leaving her family desperate for answers.

“She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend,” her family wrote on GoFundMe. “Her family is heartbroken and devastated by this tragic loss.” Nearly $12,000 has already been raised toward their $20,000 goal to cover funeral costs.
Authorities say Celeste’s cause of death remains unclear. Fans online have pointed out that an old d4vd song mentioned a girl named Celeste, though no link to the case has been confirmed.

This case has shocked the community and raised difficult questions. Should artists be scrutinized more closely when their private lives intersect with tragedy?
