A wedding celebration turned into tragedy on Saturday night at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua. Shots rang out around 8 p.m., leaving one person dead and several injured as terrified guests ran for safety.
Witness Tom Bartelson said the shooter appeared to target someone and shouted “Free Palestine” before opening fire. “He looked like he was going right for this person,” Bartelson recalled. “I feel terrible for him.”
Police confirmed there was only one shooter. A diner reportedly stopped the gunman by striking him with a chair, causing him to drop his weapon and flee. Guests described chaos as people screamed, hid under tables, or ran in every direction.

Authorities searched for a Toyota RAV4 connected to the incident and later found it nearby. Officials assured residents there is “no threat to the general public.” Community leaders are urging people to support the victims’ families during this heartbreaking time.
