A wedding celebration in Egypt turned into heartbreak when the groom collapsed and died on the dance floor. Ashraf Abu Hakam was celebrating with his new bride in Aswan Governorate when tragedy struck.
Footage shows the couple holding hands, smiling, and waving Saidi sticks during the traditional dance. Moments later, Hakam suddenly fell to the ground, still clutching his wife’s hand. Guests screamed as the joyful music stopped and chaos filled the room. Doctors later confirmed he had suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.
Condolences flooded social media as shocked friends shared their grief. “He was full of life, smiling, excited for his future,” one wrote. Another added, “May God have mercy on him, and grant him paradise.” Many expressed deep concern for his young bride, left devastated just hours after saying “I do.”

This tragedy comes only a week after a Bosnian bride died after falling into a coma on her wedding day. Two young lives lost too soon remind us how fragile joy can be. How would you comfort someone facing such sudden heartbreak?
