Fans were left shocked as Dolly Parton announced she must cancel her Las Vegas residency. The country legend, 79, was set to perform six nights in December at Caesars Palace. Instead, the shows are now moved to September 2026.
In a heartfelt statement, Dolly shared: “My doctors tell me I must have a few procedures. I joked it must be my 100,000-mile check-up!” She explained she couldn’t rehearse and give fans the show they deserve. “You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best,” she said.

The “Jolene” star reassured fans she is not retiring. “Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. I believe He is telling me to slow down right now,” Dolly added. She will continue working on projects from her Nashville home.
Tickets for the new dates remain valid, with refunds available. Dolly closed her message with love: “I thank you for understanding.” What are your thoughts—should she slow down or keep shining on stage?
