Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was rushed to a hospital in Indianapolis after being stabbed in the chest early Saturday. Police say the 38-year-old, now a Fox Sports commentator, was involved in a dispute with a food delivery driver outside Loughmiller’s Pub & Eatery around 12:30 a.m.

According to reports, the altercation began after Sanchez told the driver to move his car. The man claims Sanchez became aggressive, prompting him to defend himself with a knife. Officers confirmed both men sustained injuries but described the incident as “isolated, not random.” Sanchez remains hospitalized in stable condition.
Sanchez, who played ten NFL seasons with teams including the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys, is married to actress Perry Mattfeld. The couple shares twins, and Sanchez also has an eight-year-old son from a previous relationship.
