Climate activist Greta Thunberg is reportedly being held in poor conditions after claiming she was “abducted” by Israeli authorities. The 22-year-old was part of a humanitarian flotilla attempting to reach Gaza when her boat was intercepted. According to reports, she is being kept in a “bedbug-infested cell” with limited food and water.

A Swedish embassy official confirmed Thunberg complained of dehydration, rashes, and harsh treatment. “She said she had been sitting for long periods on hard surfaces,” the report stated. Another detainee claimed she was forced to hold flags while photos were taken.

Israeli officials have denied the allegations, calling them “complete lies.” They insist all detainees were given food, water, and medical care. The flotilla included more than 40 boats and 450 activists, including European lawmakers, delivering symbolic aid to Gaza.

Thunberg, known for her fearless climate activism, now faces her most serious ordeal yet. As one supporter said, “Greta has always fought for justice — now she needs it herself.”
