Rock musician Ann Everton has died in a tragic car crash while traveling to her band’s first tour show. The 43-year-old Darsombra artist was on her way to Montreal with her husband and bandmate, Brian Daniloski, when their van collided with a police cruiser in upstate New York on October 3.

Everton was pronounced dead at the scene, while Daniloski and the trooper were taken to hospital with injuries. Her brother-in-law, Jon Garrett, described her as “an incredibly warm and generous soul” and “a true artist.” He added, “Ann devoted her life to creativity and music, sharing her art with the world alongside Brian.”
A GoFundMe campaign has already raised over $44,000 to support Daniloski as he recovers. “Their love and passion for art inspired everyone who knew them,” Garrett said.

Everton’s death has left the music community in mourning. Known for their powerful live performances, Darsombra had toured 48 U.S. states and 25 countries since 2005. Fans are remembering Ann as a radiant spirit whose music will continue to echo far beyond the stage.
