Those haunting words come from a woman who says the popular drug Ozempic left her with side effects she’ll never recover from.

Originally designed to help people with type 2 diabetes, Ozempic quickly became a trend among those chasing weight loss — even celebrities like Sharon Osbourne have spoken about it. But for some, the results have been devastating.

Dozens of people have now filed lawsuits against Novo Nordisk, the company behind Ozempic. One woman reportedly endured a nine-hour surgery after doctors found a life-threatening bowel injury. Another, 49-year-old Robin Kelly from Mississippi, says she was left with gastroparesis — a form of stomach paralysis — after taking the drug. “It made me so sick I couldn’t work,” she shared. “There were days I’d try to go in… but I just couldn’t.”

She still suffers painful flare-ups, long after stopping the medication.

Novo Nordisk insists its medicines are safe when taken as prescribed, stressing that patient safety remains their top priority.
