New prison photos reveal Wade Wilson, the infamous ‘Deadpool Killer,’ looking nothing like he did during his trial. Wilson, who got his nickname for sharing a name with the Marvel character, was sentenced to death in 2024 for murdering Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz in 2019.

Once in court dressed neatly with slicked-back hair, Wilson now has missing teeth, a crooked jaw, and looks heavier. Prison cameras took the photos to confirm only he uses his approved tablet. He’s currently in disciplinary confinement and not allowed visitors.

Wilson’s crime spree horrified Florida. He killed Melton after taking drugs with her, stole her car, attacked another woman, then strangled Ruiz and ran her over multiple times. His father described the brutal killing in court.

Despite a group of fans supporting him, prosecutors called Wilson “the most poor representation of a man.” Now locked away at Union Correctional Institution, the new images show a man whose shocking crimes and twisted fame have left him broken behind bars.
