Imagine stepping aboard a luxury cruise… and leaving every piece of clothing behind.
That’s exactly what a 67-year-old traveler and his wife did — and his honest review has everyone talking.
Booking through a company called Bare Necessities, the couple joined more than 2,000 passengers on a seven-day “clothing-optional” voyage from Florida to Mexico and Honduras. But despite what some might think, he insists: “It wasn’t a swingers’ trip — just people who love the freedom of being nude.”

He described mornings when the captain announced, “You may now remove your clothes,” and evenings filled with laughter, dancing, and a surprising amount of respect. No one was allowed to take photos, and everyone carried towels to sit on — a rule strictly enforced. “I actually felt safer here than at any beach,” he wrote.
Most travelers were in their fifties to seventies, relaxed and open-minded. Some dressed up at night, others stayed bare under the stars — creating what he called “a strange but charming mix.”
His verdict? “It was freeing, joyful… and yes, packing was a breeze.”

Maybe the real secret of this cruise isn’t about nudity at all — but about learning to feel comfortable in your own skin.
