Sometimes, even royalty can’t escape the ache of a mother’s heart.
In her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about something deeply personal — the pain of being away from her children, Archie and Lilibet. The 43-year-old revealed that during one long trip, she spent nearly three weeks apart from them. “I was not well,” she admitted softly. “It changes you when you can’t hold your babies every day.”

Since stepping back from royal life in 2020, Meghan and Prince Harry have built a quieter life in California. Yet, their hearts remain pulled between two worlds — the family they left in the UK and the home they’ve built in the US. She even confessed she misses something as simple as Magic FM, her favorite British radio station, which a guest teasingly called “a grandma station.”
But beneath her laughter, Meghan’s words reveal something every parent understands — love and distance never mix easily.
Harry once wrote, “For days, we couldn’t stop hugging the children.” It seems Meghan feels that same ache.

Because no matter who you are — Duchess or not — a mother’s peace lives only where her children are.
