Rebel Wilson DID use Ozempic during her 80lb weight-loss journey, but no longer takes the trendy semaglutide injectable: ‘Those drugs can be good’

For years, she called it her “year of health.” Now she’s revealing what really helped her get there.

Actress Rebel Wilson, 44, has admitted she used the popular drug Ozempic during her dramatic 80-pound transformation back in 2020. “Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets,” she confessed. “So I think those drugs can be good.”

Her decision wasn’t about fame — it was about hope. After struggling with fertility and polycystic ovarian syndrome, her IVF doctor urged her to lose weight. But not everyone supported her. “Basically no one apart from my mom wanted me to lose weight,” she said. “They thought I’d lose my place as the funny, bigger girl.”

Through gym sessions, hikes, and a strict diet, she reached her goal — and later welcomed her daughter, Royce, via surrogate in 2022. Yet Rebel admits she’s gained some weight back. “I’m still curvy and solid,” she said proudly. “I just want to be healthy for my little girl.”

Her honesty sparked thousands of reactions online — some praising her courage, others debating Ozempic’s risks. But behind the headlines lies a universal truth: every woman’s journey with her body is personal, painful, and deeply human.

Sometimes, the hardest part isn’t losing the weight — it’s learning to love yourself after you do.
