People Discuss Donald Trump’s Reaction to a Man Collapsing in the Oval Office During a Recent Press Conference

What was meant to be a simple White House press event turned into a terrifying scene few expected.

During an Oval Office announcement on November 6, 2025, former President Donald Trump was unveiling a major plan to reduce prices for weight-loss drugs like Wegovy and Zepbound. The room was filled with top pharmaceutical executives — until one of them suddenly collapsed in front of everyone.

The man was later identified as Gordon Findlay, a global brand director at Novo Nordisk. Witnesses said that as Eli Lilly’s CEO was speaking, Findlay began to sway and lose balance. Dr. Mehmet Oz and others rushed to help, gently lowering him to the ground while the press was quickly escorted out.

But what happened next caused outrage online. Cameras captured Trump standing motionless behind his desk as chaos unfolded before him. Many viewers accused him of “doing nothing,” while others argued he was simply frozen in shock. “The way he just stands there…” one viewer wrote. Another added, “Thank God Dr. Oz was there.”

The event, meant to celebrate a groundbreaking healthcare deal, ended abruptly as medical staff responded. Findlay’s current condition has not been publicly confirmed.

What began as a policy victory turned into a moment that left millions questioning — how do leaders react when life takes an unexpected turn?
