A woman who believes she died and spent three days in a peaceful “spirit realm” is sharing what she learned during that experience. Her story has drawn widespread attention as interest in near-death experiences continues to grow.
Julie Poole, now a spiritual mentor, has long spoken about the trauma she faced as a child. In her twenties, during a period of deep emotional pain, she attempted to end her life. She says she lost consciousness and felt herself enter a calm, bright place that seemed separate from the physical world.

Poole recalls seeing guiding figures who lifted her upward. She remembers telling them she was “going home,” but they responded that it was not her time. She says they reminded her that her life would be difficult but meaningful, and that she still had a purpose to fulfill.
According to Poole, she returned to her body three days later with a message she could not forget. She believes she was told that between 2012 and 2032, humanity would begin moving into a “Golden Age.” She describes this period as a shift away from control and abuse of power and toward greater fairness and accountability. In her view, this change involves long-standing corruption being exposed and replaced by people with sincere intentions.
Near-death experiences remain medically unexplained, but they continue to raise questions about consciousness, healing, and spirituality. For Poole, her experience left her with a sense of hope and a belief that truth and integrity will play a larger role in the years ahead.
