Some couples reach a season where life feels peaceful, light, and full of simple joys. That’s where Taylor and Justin Vasu say they are now, and they’re not ready to give that up. At 28 and 27, they’ve chosen a childfree lifestyle, and they’re open about why it works for them.

The couple enjoys slow mornings, weekend lie-ins, and spontaneous lunch dates. They travel often, work out together, and book vacations with barely a week’s notice. For them, these small freedoms make their marriage feel strong and connected.
Their turning point came after the pandemic, when they realized how much time they felt they had lost. Instead of starting a family right away, they decided to explore the places they missed. This year alone, they plan to visit Mexico, New York, Italy, and several U.S. states.

Taylor says money also plays a part in their choice. Children are expensive, and she wants to feel fully prepared before taking that step. She worries about the strain parenthood can place on a marriage and has seen friends struggle to keep their lives balanced.
For now, they enjoy a schedule that belongs only to them. They exercise on the beach, meet friends on weekends, and keep their relationship playful and close. They believe this freedom helps keep their spark strong.

Taylor and Justin say they may want kids someday, but not yet. Today, they’re simply enjoying being young, in love, and building the life that feels right for them.
