Authorities in Indonesia have issued a significant update in the case of British adult creator Bonnie Blue, who was detained late last week after a controversial filming incident in Bali.

Police say the 26-year-old, whose legal name is Tia Billinger, was arrested on December 5 along with 17 male tourists. Officials believe the group produced explicit material inside a van, an act that violates Indonesia’s strict anti-pornography laws. The vehicle, often linked to her so-called “BangBus” tour, was also confiscated.

According to Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara, officers acted after a local resident reported suspicious activity. Moreover, investigators collected several items from the scene, including cameras, costumes, and various personal products.

Immigration authorities now plan to question Billinger within the next two days. Although the law allows for a prison term of up to 15 years and a large fine, legal experts in Jakarta suggest a different outcome is more likely. One adviser noted that deportation and a long-term entry ban could be the preferred resolution, depending on how officials choose to proceed.

Meanwhile, most of the men interviewed—among them 14 Australian visitors—have been released and may return home shortly. Officials say they are continuing to review Billinger’s activities during her stay.

Police have also taken control of her social media accounts, where she previously promoted gatherings connected to the alleged filming. Further inquiries are expected as authorities determine whether any additional participants could face charges.
