Man Scratched To Death By His Pet Cat

A man in Russia has died after a simple scratch from his pet cat turned deadly. Dmitry Ukhin, 55, from the Leningrad region, found his missing cat, Styopka, and brought it home. But the cat scratched his leg, causing a serious injury.

Dmitry, who had diabetes and a blood clotting disorder, couldn’t stop the bleeding. He called a neighbor and emergency services for help, saying his life was in danger. Sadly, by the time medics arrived, Dmitry had already passed away.

His wife, Natalya, described Styopka as a gentle cat who liked to roam but was never aggressive. She confirmed reports that the ambulance took too long to arrive, which may have worsened the situation.

Authorities are still investigating Dmitry’s exact cause of death and what will happen to Styopka. His tragic story is a sad reminder of how serious even a small injury can be for those with certain health conditions.
