Trisha Paytas, 36, a YouTuber known for her channel blndsundoll4mj and various media ventures, has announced the name of her second child, sparking controversy. Paytas, who has two daughters, has been criticized for her unconventional name choices.
Paytas named her first daughter Malibu Barbie in 2022, saying, “She’s like a little girl, so I just get to dress her up!” Now, her second daughter’s name, Elvis Paytas-Hacmon, has also drawn strong reactions. One critic remarked, “This poor child’s gonna get picked on so bad for that name.”
The name Elvis has divided public opinion. Some fans defended her choice, with one saying, “She just loves Elvis, and wanted it no matter the gender.” Another added, “She’s fabulous like her mom.” However, others were less supportive, with comments like, “What an awful name for a child.”
Announcing her daughter’s birth on June 4, Paytas said she had always envisioned the names Malibu and Elvis. “I love all names, I think they’re so cute, but I’ve always manifested Malibu and Elvis,” she explained.
