Meghan Markle offered a rare, clearer look at family life on Friday, and she did it with a simple seasonal message.
At 15:34 GMT on December 19, 2025, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted a new family portrait on Instagram and wrote, “Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.” The image shows Harry, 41, holding Archie as the two smile at each other. Meghan leans toward Lilibet on a bridge and touches her forehead to her daughter’s while holding both hands. The photo sits in California sunlight. Archie wears jeans with a jumper or cardigan. Lilibet wears a light blue dress, long white socks, and gold shoes, with strawberry-blonde hair falling to her shoulder blades.

About two hours earlier, the Sussexes released a “Happy Holidays” video on their website. The film includes Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, as they help Harry push a trolley of food made to feed the poor in California on Thanksgiving. The footage also shows Meghan at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles.
The couple also released a separate holiday card that shows them holding hands in the snow at the Invictus Games in Canada in February. Unlike last year, the children do not appear. Neither message uses the word “Christmas.”
The releases arrived as the couple announced a new name for their charity. The Archewell Foundation will become Archewell Philanthropies, five years after its launch following Megxit.
For many parents, the moment lands in a familiar place. Share what fits your family. Keep the rest for home.
