A video shows former Nickelodeon actor Tylor Chase living on the streets in the Los Angeles area. Chase, 36, played Martin “Qwerly” Qwerly on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide in the 2000s.
A woman filmed Chase in Riverside in September. She asked if he worked for Disney. Chase corrected her and said Nickelodeon. He also named the show and gave his full name.

The clip spread fast online and upset many fans. Chase’s former co-stars talked about it on Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide on September 24.
Daniel Curtis Lee called the video “scary.” He said he felt angry at first about filming someone in a hard moment. He also said he felt helpless and wished he could do more.

Lindsey Shaw said she wants to see Chase in person. She said she wants to speak with him and show support.
Devon Werkheiser said the situation feels painful and shocking. He said he hates seeing Chase shown while vulnerable. Still, he said the person who posted the video may have meant well.

Chase began acting as a teen. He later appeared on Everybody Hates Chris and in the film Good Time Max.
The report says the outlet contacted Nickelodeon for comment.
