A video of former child star Tylor Chase on streets in California spread online. It sparked concern from fans after clips went viral on TikTok.
Chase acted in the early to mid-2000s and is now 36. He appeared on Nickelodeon’s Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide as Martin Qwerly. He also had roles in Everybody Hates Chris and Good Time Max.
In September, people filmed Chase in Riverside, California, looking unwell. Riverside police said they do not know how long he has faced homelessness. Public Information Officer Ryan Railsback told the Daily Mail that Chase has been cordial. He said officers contact him at least weekly and offer resources, including temporary shelter.

Railsback also said Chase declined shelter and services offered for drugs, alcohol, and mental health. Police said Chase is not wanted for any crimes.
Chase’s mother has said he has battled bipolar disorder for years. She asked for a GoFundMe to be closed, saying he needs medical care, not money. The TikTok user who launched it said she also explained he cannot manage phones or money for medication.
Chase later told the Daily Mail he is not homeless and has options. He said he has friends and family nearby and support through a housing assistance program. He also said he may return to Georgia to see his father and seek housing help there.

Actor Shaun Weiss said he has a detox bed and long-term treatment available for Chase. He asked anyone who spots Chase to message him so help can reach him over the holiday.
