YouTuber Adam the Woo was found dead at age 51 in his Orlando-area home, authorities said. Deputies went to the home Monday at 12:30 p.m. for a welfare check. However, they could not make contact.
Later, deputies returned at about 2:50 p.m. after a report of an unattended death. A worried friend used a ladder to look through a window. He saw Adam lying unresponsive on a bed. Authorities said the friend had spoken with him the day before.
Next, deputies and fire rescue workers entered the home. They examined him and pronounced him dead at the scene. Adam the Woo’s full name was Adam Williams.

For now, officials have not confirmed a cause of death. A medical examiner is scheduled to perform an autopsy. Authorities also notified Adam’s father, according to reports.
Adam the Woo built his audience through vlogging and travel videos. He had more than 407,000 YouTube subscribers and about 85,000 Instagram followers. He started posting to YouTube in 2009.
He filmed trips to abandoned theme parks, movie locations, and odd roadside attractions. Early on, he lived in a van while traveling and relied on viewer donations. He later launched TheDailyWoo and posted daily for five years.
Adam the Woo was also a well-known Disney fan. After his death, fans and creators shared tributes and condolences.
