Tommy Lee Jones is grieving after the death of his daughter, Victoria Kafka Jones, who was found unresponsive at the Fairmont San Francisco on New Year’s Day (January 1, 2026). She was 34.

Emergency crews were called after a hotel guest spotted Victoria on the 14th floor and initially thought she had drunk too much. When staff arrived, they quickly realized she was unresponsive. Employees began CPR while calling for help, but paramedics were unable to revive her.

Police say paramedics were dispatched at 2:52 a.m. Officers from the San Francisco Police Department then responded to a report of a death at a hotel on the 900 block of Mason Street. A spokesperson said the incident was reported at about 3:14 a.m. The Medical Examiner attended the scene and is now investigating. The cause of death has not been confirmed.
