Dick Van Dyke, 97, And Younger Wife Of 10 Years Show Off Their Moves In Dancing Video

Dick Van Dyke, a multifaceted entertainer, has dazzled audiences since the 1940s. His career soared with the Tony Award-winning “Bye Bye Birdie” and the groundbreaking “The Dick Van Dyke Show.” Recognized for his elastic-limbed, comedic acting, he cemented his legacy with timeless classics like “Mary Poppins.”

At 97, Van Dyke remains vibrant and healthy. Emphasizing an active lifestyle, he revealed his exercise routine in a CBS interview: “I’m 95, and a lot of my friends won’t do these…So all you old guys out there, listen to me, I’m telling you: You can keep going for a long time—I’m still dancing! And singing!”

A family man, Van Dyke cherishes his role as a great-grandfather. Reflecting on his career highlights, he expressed gratitude for working with talented and kind co-stars like Julie Andrews and Mary Tyler Moore. His commitment to family values influenced his choice of roles: “I always said I didn’t want to do anything kids can’t see.”

Married since 2012, Van Dyke and his wife, Arlene Silver, captivated fans with a Valentine’s Day 2022 video, dancing and singing to Doris Day’s “Everybody Loves a Lover.” Despite pandemic restrictions, the couple continues to perform, showcasing their enduring chemistry and Van Dyke’s timeless talent.
