Wife’s words
A woman claiming to be Good’s wife cried at the scene.
“I made her come down here, it’s my fault,”
“They just shot my wife.”
What happened
Witnesses said ICE shot Good three times in the face.
Good, 37, died in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
Video showed ICE agents ordering her out of her car.
She reversed, then tried to drive off.
Three shots rang out.
Then the SUV crashed into parked cars.
Mother speaks
Good’s mother Donna Ganger spoke to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
She denied her daughter joined the ICE protests at the location.
“That’s so stupid,”
“She was probably terrified.”
ICE and leaders
ICE said Good drove her burgundy SUV at agents.
However, Mayor Jacob Frey called that “bulls**t”.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem defended the officer’s actions.
“An officer of ours acted quickly and defensively, shot to protect himself and the people around him,”
Vice President JD Vance backed ICE after the shooting.
“I want every ICE officer to know that their president, vice president, and the entire administration stands behind them,”
Investigation
The FBI and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating.
President Trump called Good a “professional agitator”.
He said the agent acted in “self-defense”.
