Daughter of Three-Time Super Bowl Champion Kevin Faulk Dies Unexpectedly

A small Louisiana community now grieves with the Faulk family.

Tanasha Faulk, 30, died on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center. Authorities have not released a cause of death, and they do not suspect foul play. Tanasha leaves behind three young daughters, and friends say motherhood anchored her life.

She grew up in Carencro and stayed close to home. She loved holidays and birthdays. She showed up for family gatherings. She especially loved Mardi Gras. She also loved to cook, and she often used a shared meal to pull people together.

This loss hits even harder because the family has carried heartbreak before. In September 2021, Tanasha’s younger sister, Kevione, died at 19 while working as a student assistant with LSU football. The family also mourned an infant brother, Kevin Faulk Jr. Now they face another impossible goodbye.

Loved ones will honor Tanasha on Saturday, December 13, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Carencro. Then family and friends will gather again for interment at Evangeline Memorial Gardens.

Tanasha was the eldest daughter of Kevin Faulk, the former LSU standout who won three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. Yet in Carencro, people remember Tanasha for quieter victories. She built a home around laughter, generosity, and her girls.
