Freddie Mercury’s ‘secret’ daughter dies aged 48: ‘Bibi’ passes away following long battle with spinal cancer months after her existence was revealed in Queen singer’s biography

The family of Freddie Mercury’s secret daughter announced her death at age 48 today.

Battle With Cancer

The woman known as “Bibi” died after a long fight with chordoma. This is a rare form of spinal cancer.

Her husband, Thomas, said she passed away peacefully. She leaves behind two sons, ages nine and seven.

“B is now with her beloved and loving father in the world of thoughts.” Thomas told the Daily Mail.

A Bombshell Biography

Author Lesley-Ann Jones revealed Bibi’s existence in the book “Love, Freddie” last summer.

The author claims Mercury fathered the child during an affair in 1976. She says DNA evidence supports this.

Bibi was a doctor living in France. However, she kept her identity secret to protect her career and patients.

Links to Queen

Freddie Mercury called his daughter his “treasure” and “little froggie.” He remained close to her until 1991.

The singer wrote the songs “Bijou” and “Don’t Try So Hard” for her. Later, he gave her 17 volumes of his journals.

“I didn’t want to share my Dad with the whole world.” Bibi stated before her death.

Challenging the Past

Bibi wanted to challenge lies about Mercury’s life. Meanwhile, his former fiancée Mary Austin denied the child existed.

Austin’s lawyers tried to stop the book’s publication but failed. Still, the family may soon release photos of Bibi with Freddie.
