White House Issues Update on ICE Shooting
The White House released a shocking update regarding Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who killed Renee Good.
Officer Protected From Charges
Vice President JD Vance confirmed that agent Jonathan Ross will not face criminal prosecution. He stated that Ross is protected by “absolute immunity” while performing his official duties. Ross, 43, has served as an immigration officer for over 10 years. His father, Ed, also claimed his son would not be charged. He insisted that Good hit the officer with her SUV before the shots.

Shocking Medical Report Issued
The Trump administration reported that Ross suffered “internal bleeding” in his torso. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that Good hit Ross during the incident. Doctors treated the agent at a hospital for his injuries. He has since been released to spend time with his family. Vance criticized the left for lying about the case after this medical update.
Officials Defend the Agent
Donald Trump and his cabinet praised Ross for doing his job. Vance called the death of the mom-of-three a “tragedy of her own making.” He added that the agent deserves a debt of gratitude for his service. However, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz called the shooting reckless and avoidable. Mayor Jacob Frey also rejected claims of self-defense after viewing the footage.

A Heartbreaking Family Loss
Renee Good was a 37-year-old award-winning poet and mother. Her family described her as loving, forgiving, and very affectionate. Meanwhile, chilling footage of the January 7 shooting continues to circulate online. The incident happened during a major immigration crackdown in Minneapolis.
