Recent photos of President Trump at the World Economic Forum sparked health concerns after a large bruise was spotted on his hand. The mark was visible during a signing ceremony in Switzerland, leading to public speculation.
On his return flight to the States, the President addressed the rumors directly. He explained that the bruising is a side effect of taking a daily “big aspirin” for heart health. He noted that while his doctors say he is healthy enough to stop, he prefers to continue the regimen as a precaution.

White House officials also clarified the cause of this specific injury. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the President accidentally hit his hand on the corner of a table during the event.
Medical experts confirm that aspirin use makes skin more susceptible to bruising. The medication prevents blood cells from clumping together to form clots. While this helps prevent heart attacks, it also causes minor bleeding under the skin and makes bruises appear more easily.

This is not the first time such marks have drawn attention. Similar instances in the past were attributed to a busy schedule and frequent handshaking. To manage his appearance, the President has occasionally used makeup to cover the visible marks.
