Savannah Guthrie Issues Major Update In Mom’s Abduction Case

Savannah Guthrie has issued a public update after authorities confirmed that her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, was taken against her will. Investigators say the case is now being treated as a criminal abduction, not a missing-person incident.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her home in Tucson. Concern grew when she did not attend her regular church service the next day, something her family said was completely out of character. After a welfare check, police said evidence pointed to a forced disappearance. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are also reviewing an alleged ransom note demanding payment for Nancy’s return. Officials say they are working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to verify the note. At this stage, no suspect or person of interest has been identified.

The case has drawn national attention. Donald Trump said he has spoken with the family and directed federal agencies to support local investigators in the search.

Savannah Guthrie and her siblings said they are willing to communicate with those responsible, but only if they receive clear proof that their mother is alive. In an emotional message, Savannah asked for her mother’s safe return and thanked the public for their prayers and support.
