Millions of files linked to Jeffrey Epstein were released by the Department of Justice. The release included emails and images Epstein had saved over time. This caused many well-known names to appear in the documents.
One image shows Dan Bilzerian sitting with Post Malone. The photo included two women whose faces were blacked out. The image drew attention because it appeared in the Epstein files.
Bilzerian said the photo came from his own Instagram page. He explained that he posted it publicly in 2018. He said Epstein likely saved the image online, like many others. When the files were released, faces were blurred by authorities.
Bilzerian said this does not mean he knew Epstein or had contact with him. He added that many public photos he shared online now appear in the files for the same reason.
Officials have said that being named or pictured in the Epstein files does not mean a crime was committed. The documents include a wide mix of material, much of it unrelated to Epstein’s criminal activity.
