New Twist In Search For Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mom As FBI Issues Update

Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been missing for eight days after disappearing from her home in Tucson, Arizona. When she did not attend church the next morning, her family alerted police. Authorities later said she was likely taken against her will.

Her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, and the family made public pleas after a ransom note demanding millions in Bitcoin appeared. They said they were willing to pay but asked for proof that Nancy was alive. The family also warned that she needs daily medication and has serious health problems.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed a second message linked to the ransom is now being reviewed. Investigators are checking whether it is real and whether it came from the same sender as the first note. No proof of life has been confirmed.

Law enforcement activity has increased at Nancy’s home. FBI teams were seen searching the property again, including areas behind the house. Officers were also reported to have removed a vehicle from the garage and revisited a family member’s home.

There are still no suspects. Police have not said whether anyone close to the family has been ruled out. Investigators continue to ask the public to report anything unusual, saying even small details may help find Nancy Guthrie.
