Nancy Guthrie has now been missing for more than ten days. The case took a new turn after the Federal Bureau of Investigation released surveillance images from outside her home in Tucson.

The photos show a masked and armed person near Nancy’s front door early on the morning she disappeared. Investigators say the individual appears to be tampering with a security camera. The footage was recovered from previously inaccessible data.
Since the images were released, many people online have focused on the suspect’s eyes. Some believe the shape of the eyebrows and eyes suggests the person could be a woman. Others disagree and say body language in the video appears more masculine. Authorities have not confirmed the suspect’s gender.

A former FBI agent also commented that the way the firearm was carried looked unusual. He suggested the person may not be experienced with weapons. However, this is only expert opinion and not official confirmation.
Police briefly detained a man for questioning but later released him. No formal charges have been announced. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to review evidence and follow new tips from the public.
